  We continue to eat here because the sushi is very good. Every time we go the service leaves something to be desired. The staff clearly believes they are above the patrons and do the minimum to make your visit pleasant. Luckily the chefs know what they're doing and how to keep a restaurant successful.

  Food was not bad, average Japanese food, atmosphere was nice. Service was okay until when she told me that I didn't tip enough, it's 12% (granted, it's less than 15% but I just didn't like being told on how much to tip!) I wasn't very hungry and only ordered a couple of things.

  We went to Blue Fish in Irving with our family and our son and daughter-in-law ordered for us because we don't know much about sushi. It was delicious! We tried many different types of sushi and each one had a wonderful unique flavor and the presentaion was beautiful-very artistic.
  
  The service was very good-the timing of each dish appeared at just the right time. We had a party of eight which included 2 small children and they were well taken care of with spring loaded chop sticks and coloring sheets with crayons. We had several servers who were quite attentive.
  
  The atmosphere was nice with low lighting and background music, but the mood is upbeat and comfortably lively but not too loud to carry on a conversation.
  
  Blue Fish definitely exheeded our expectations and we will return. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for not only an excellent, healthy meal, but also a delightful adventure.

  We ordered a variety of sushi rolls- fire cracker roll, sashimi roll (AWESOME!) sashimi- yellow fin, ablacore, snapper, and veggie tempora, edemame, baby octopus salad. The service and the food prep was prompt and exceptional- the best for this kind of restruant. The atomosphere detracted from our dining- smokey front with loud music/tv. The resturant exceeded my expectations in the portion size and the quality of the sushi. I will return tomorrow.
