  Downhill since McCormick & Schmick

  Neither the food nor the service is as good under MkC & Schmick as it was under the old Spenger's ownership. On 2 occasions, the veggies were cold--actually cold! The drinks are also slightly watered down from the 'old days'. As for the service, it too has declined. Sad.

  Spengers prints its menu daily with a huge selection of seafood, fresh fish, shellfish and more from the Bay Area, Pacific Ocean and other regions all over the world. The only reason I gave the food a rating of 8 instead of a 10 is because recently the fish portions have decreased by approximately 1/2.
  
  The decor is beautiful and this is definitely a memorable dining experience!!!!
