This is as close as you can get to the ambience of a seaside seafood place in Dayton. The experience of sitting at the bar and having your own personal oyster shucker split the very fresh raw oysters from a bucket of 50 is truly entertaining and the cocktail sauce is just perfect. I've sampled most of their menu, and the other fare is just as good, but the stuffed flounder is to die for. And if you're lucky, like me....maybe a black pearl will grace your palate, from a freshly shucked oyster. The frozen marguerita is very large and the best in town..but make a note: sometimes the oysters are as big as hamburger patties and other times they're just average, so ask before u order a whole bucket. Bon appetit!

We used to live in Dayton..went to shuckin shack not knowing what to expect..sat at the cement bar for raw osters and clams and my husband and I loved it. We live in Ct now and paid less for great seafood at this restaurant. The people were the absolute nicest!! not like cT. We go there first thing when ever we are in the area for business. We love it
