This use to be the BEST place to eat in columbus, now, not so much. The place use to be packed ALL the time, now, not so much. I wondered for a while and then i realized their quality has suffered set back. I usually get to go orders and go visit, but i have all but stopped. The employees dont appreciate the customers at all, no one is nice, the place is filthy. The last three visits i had to clean my own childs highchair because they kept giving us dirty ones. Today i picke up a to go order, sat down to eat, opened it and had a nice brown salad. I just am so disappointed. Everyone that knows me, knows me as shoguns "biggest contributor" but I guess its time to go elsewhere. I could name all my issues with this place, but i think his cash register is probably already indicating a probem.
For once I did'nt have to dine alone. I had dinner seated around a habachi grill with other guests, while the very talented chef entertained us while preparing our food.
The Steak and Lobster was excellent.I was amazed at how the waitresses stayed focused and attended to the customers.Birthdays and special occasions were being celebrated.Children,as well as adults, were having a ball watching the chefs clown around, tossing eggs into the air, making the shrimp wave hi,and making flames from the grill flare up.Have you ever heard "Happy Birthday" sung in japanese? I did.Even the lovely cahier, to whom I paid the very reasonable charge for my meal, smiled and said Thank You Sir!Be careful while driving.I think She really meant it.The next time I'am in Columbus Georgia,I go to SHOGUN!
