  Good old bacon and eggs

  I allow myself bacon and scrambled eggs once a week. I have them at the Ritz Carlton or at the Serving Spoon. The ambience and service at the Ritz are worth the money once and a while, but the food at Serving Spoon is just as good. In fact, I am off to the Serving Spoon right now.

  I had sausage gravy and biscuits at the Serving Spoon for breakfast. It is not on their regular menu but was a special that day. It was awful! I ate about 1/4 of the serving and left. It was without a doubt the worse I have ever had. It tasted like they poured a whole big scoop of salt into it.
