My girlfriend wanted Chinese, so we went to Season Buffet. We were greeted and seated promptly and courteously. For a buffet the selction was very "chicken heavy", no pork at all, and very little beef in the brocoli beef. I put some lo mein, crab rangoon, an eggroll, and some crab/chicken "meatballs" on my plate. The meatballs were quite good, the lo mein was O.K., the egg roll was standard fare, and now for the crab rangoon....which tasted fine until... I broke one open, took a bite, and got the bonus I was SO not expecting. A hair. Not a hair that had just happened to fall on it, but one that had been baked into, and was protruding through the shell. As I have reddish brown hair, and my girlfriend has long red hair, it was not one of ours. It was also not the black, straight hair of anyone of Asian descent who was working there at the time. My girlfriend has lived on a farm, and worked with animals of all shapes and sizes the majority of her life- from Corgis to Monitor Lizards to Quarter Horses. She identified the hair as the same type that would be found on what she used to feed "Kitty" her pet Savannah Monitor Lizard- RODENT- based on the length and the coarseness of the hair(and not the small kind- it was 1 1/4 inches in length)!!! After both of us had completely lost our appetite, we flagged one of the servers down to point this out to her. The server then took my plate, and brought it to the attention of the manager. The server swings back by to see if I would like some more Coke (apparently if the need should arise for me to wash down a hairball- Lovely!). "No, but I'll take the check". We are then handed the check for the two buffets that we barely touched. $18.30. I have no problem for paying whatever we owed, because I really just wanted to settle the bill and get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. I didn't expect the bill to be comped, but maybe at least MY portion...you know, the one with the rat hair in it? What would have been nicer than that? How about someone at the restaurant actually acknowledging the fact with an APOLOGY!!!???

Needless to say I will not be returning EVER, will not recommend it to anyone, would recommend against it in general, and in all good conscience, should probably put in a call to the Douglas County Health Department.
