My wife and I eat here once a week. It's a good place to go on Fridays as it's not usually very crowded and you rarely have to wait for a table. I've no idea how authentic it is as I've never been to the middle east. But, we absolutely love the food.
I was quite disappointed with my dining experience at Oasis. The rice was an insignifcant sidedish that tasted like cheap white instant rice. The service was mediocre. The server seemed to have little knowledge of the food she was serving. In fact, she mispronounced some of the dishes incorrectly. Overall the restauant did not meet my expectations and I will not return.
This is absolutely the best food in Lexington! My girlfriend and I eat there most Friday evenings and have for three years. Everything on the menu is worth a try (except for the grape leaf wraps which are probably excellent, as well, but just not my taste). The only downside is the lack of adult beverages, but the clove tea and Turkish coffee make up for it.
