My friends and I go to Miyako fairly often and we always have a nice time. You can get better sushi at some of the smaller places in town, but they either require reservations or are outrageously expensive.
Miyako is relaxed and affordable. The sushi and the hibachi are both very good, and its fun to watch the hibachi chef work.
The first time I went to Miyako was with a large group of friends. One of my friends brought their camera and our waitress even offered to take our picture so everyone could be in it. She was so nice!
I would highly recommend Miyako for a nice, relaxing meal.

This place is terrible. The waitress was not nice and never smiled. She brought us the wrong appertizer which we ordered. I asked the chef cook my steak rare, but it came out medium well. I only had two bites. My sister never got her soup and the chef tossed a piece of onion to her face when she was not paying attention. We told the server the situation we had, the manager was not around. They never tried to resolve the problem for us.The service was poor and the sushi was just fine. The people work over there don't know how to communicate with the customers. They don't know how to resolve the problem for customer . I will never come back. It is not worth to go to this place to eat.Don't try this place !

poor service, our server was not friendly at all, in fact she did not seem too happy for her job. She literally threw our drinks and food on our table. Food was just fine, I can go elsewhere for a better quality. My wife and I order medium rare filet mignon, and it came out done. We wanted to change but we were never being checked on, and it was not busy at all.
