  Boring bakery cant compete with Portland baking

  No one was at the counter to help me for a couple of minutes so I stood and waited for assistance. Once I was finally greeted, the phone rang and she left me to answer it. The finally the owner came back and I told her I wanted coffee. She said it was self serve so I turned around to get some and it was empty. There was no second pitcher being brewed so I had to wait for another batch. In the meantime I ordered a cinnamon roll that was frozen in the center.

  I wish I Could Say Something Bad at Mehri's!

  I realize that my numerical ratings are all 10's and that makes me look suspicious. But honestly I have never been in Mehri's when the food wasn't delicious and the service wasn't terrific. Mehri dotes on her customers without being invasive. She treats all who come in as friends who are invited to to her home. She delights in cooking and baking and is even happier when her customers enjoy their food and eat everything on their plates despite their highest resolve not to do so! I highly recommend Mehri's for a business luncheon, a party, or just to drop in with friends. We have done all three. You won't be disappointed!
