    Will Not Disappoint!

    The Marion Maid-Rite, located across from City Square Park at the corner of 7th Avenue and 10th Street, housed the Hobby Shop backin the 1960's-70's when I was growing up in Marion. I first visited the restaurant in October 1999 while passing through town on a move and again in 2007 while passing through town with my children on vacation. Both times the food was as good as one can find at any Maid-Rite, and while the HO scale trains, slot racers and models were just a fond memory I found the friendly and energetic atmosphere of a typical small-town social hub a delight. If you have tried Maid-Rite only at those newer buildings and were disappointed, give the Marion Maid-Rite a try - it will not disappoint!
