I really like this place... better than any other mexican place in the Lansing area. While it is not 100% authentic, it is a very, very good meal. Their chips and salsa are always freshly made and tasty. The Carne Asada tacos are always a hit ... reasonably priced, large portions, and delicious condiments. They also offer nightly specials. If you get the chance, try the langostines. They are spicy but finger licking good!
try the Tacos de carne asada, they are the closest to authentic Mexican cousine accompanied with a XX (dos equis) Amber draft, Los tres Amigos / Hacienda los amigos...are Tex-mex food...Fajitas and Service are great too...not expensive...I wish they had more authentic food but they are ok...
overall: 7.5
los tres amigos is the bomb. im going there today. they got great food and will get u shit faced at a reasonable price. yes i will be partaking of their bar here in just a few hours.i got a double jack for like 6 bucks (not bad 4 bar price) and it was huge. 2 of them bad boys sent me about my buisness lol. any way if u say the place sucks...well you're just simply a retard who is used to prision food.
I've given this restaurant three chances so far. My first experience was horrible- gross food and very expensive. My second experience was mediocre at best. The last time I ate here with DEFINITELY be my last. Although the service is good (friendly and quick), I thought the food was bland and smelled funny. How can you go wrong with chicken nachos? Almost as soon as the waiter served me, there was a huge puddle of grease (?) and the chips were just soggy mush. I will not go back and will not visit the other locations.
Holy s***. The first time I came in here I was shocked at how fast the service was. In just a few minutes I had a huge sizzling plate of fajitas in front of me and they were the best I'd had.
This place is amazing.
The wait staff is fast, friendly, and always keep me happy on drink re-fills, chip refills and getting what I need for my meal quickly.
This was our first time eating here, and we enjoyed everything about the experience. We were greeted pleasantly at the door and seated immediately. The chips and salsa were great, the atmosphere was pleasant and homey...and the food! Yum! We each tried a different combination platter, and it was more than enough food. I especially loved the chile rellano. Highly recommended, and we will be back.
Having grown up in Southern California where good, family-owned Mexican restaurants abound, it is so refreshing to finally have a Michigan-based quality place for real Mexican food. The tamales are like mom makes them! If you're only used to mid-west chain Tex-Mex restaurants, you may not fully appreciate what these folks are doing, but if you're looking for quality Mexican food, this is the place to try!
My first visit at Los Tres was unexpected. My mother, her cousin and I decided to drop in after a hard workout and drink some beer, (I know, we cheated really bad that night). The bartender instantly invited us to come sit at his bar, from where we were sitting,(which was in the back of the livingroom, w/ no clear view of the bigscreen T.V. they have set up by the bar)and charmed us with excellent hospitality and fun enthusiasm. That night was one to never forget! If you haven't gone, you need to go NOW!! You will truely make some amigos there.
We choses this resturant to meet up with some friends for dinner. The plus was they serve drinks and have pretty decent happy hour specials. The service was also friendly the lady we had was very new but she was doing a good job. The chips and salsa were awesome but the food was not very good. I had a taco and cheese enchilada combo. The taco was good but the chese in the enchiladas was not even melted and the enchilada sauce was blah. My husband had a chimichunga that came out and was about the size of a pencil, he was very displease with his food.
great for date night for family night. I'd recommend it to anyone. So glad they built one near our house. Everyone there is very friendly and the service is quick. Food is always made to perfection. I take my family there as often as we can get out and go. They are very family friendly. And another great thing is the ventilation. You would never know that smoking is allowed. It seems smoke free.
We dined at los Tres Amigos. It was very pleasant. Quick and pleasant service and the food was great! We loved how they served the salsa - lots of it with plates to dish out from. The chips are so addicting!
They did a great job with the ambience. It's got a nice pleasant hum in the atmosphere. Enough that you could bring children and not feel too guilty.
