I took my mom to The Ketch for Mothers' Day and regret it. They REFUSED to serve her the combination she wanted because it wasn't on the menu. No amount of money could convince them -- well, the server said it would be fine bu when the food came it wasn't what we asked for. Also my dad and I had to re-order because the were "out" of what we wanted. NO ONE left satisfied and I felt like I let my mom down on Mothers Day. Thanks Ketch for being jerks for no reason.
We just recently discovered their weekend brunch. 9am to 2 pm on Saturdays & Sundays. We LOVED it so much we've gone three (3) weekends in a row and cannot wait to go back. It's truly one of the best kept secrets in Lexington!! It is not buffet style. Their sausage gravy is the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The beignets are quite awesome too!! The same sweet-natured young woman (Melissa) waited on us all 3 times and gave us excellent service. You have GOT TO go!!
We ordered the broiled seafood platter & the "special" mahi mahi. The platter was terrible. The fish tasted old and nasty. We would never go back and certainly will tell our friends of our experience. The server was very friendly but it took quite a while to get our drinks and our order. "They were behind" it was empty in there, so I don't know what they would do if they were busy.
