Keep in mind JJ is a sandwich chain, but what they do, they excel at. Call it "fast food" if you like, but this is fast food in the strictest sense of the term: it is Fast!
And it is good, fresh food. Start with the bread, which is baked on the premises. Signage tells "smells are free", and the nose knows the unmistakable aroma of yeasty bread baking. The bread is often still warm when served. The fixins are wholesome and tasty. JJ likes to stuff their buns with sprouts, which I love.
Service is impeccable from the moment you open the door until you leave. The "freaky fast" aspect is apparent as your order is usually ready for you moments after you finish paying for it.
The ambiance is noisy, featuring (from what I can tell) classic and retro rock tunes via satellite radio. It's fun though.
I wind up here just about every week, sometimes twice. I will keep coming back.
