I heard about Jerry's Famous Deli online. Went to the Costa Mesa, CA, location, convinced I could relive my Carnegie Deli (NY) experience. I was sadly dissapointed. I ordered to-go, $12.49 for a Pastrami sandwhich, coleslaw and pickle (which I could have done without). While the pastrami was good, the sandwhich was terribly small. It looked more like a half-sandwhich. Even worse, there was insuffienct meat to fill the bread. The coleslaw and pickle cost $.49 at most, which means you're paying $12 or more for a half-sandwhich. For $6.49 at The Hat in Fullerton, CA (and other locations througout Los Angeles), you can get more sandwhich than the "Famous" Jerry's Deli offers. I will never go here again.
