The Hob-Nob is a what you see is what you get kinda place. Great views of the park and everyone walking by. Food that taste good, and reflects the area. And servers who are kind - but don't hover. I've gone off and on for the last 6 years. Give it a try you'll enjoy it, but don't expect the hilton.
Today I had to clean off my own table, get my own menus, and turn one of the menus back in because it was so dirty/sticky that I couldn't open it. I had pancakes which I sent back - they tasted awful. When the waitress finally checked on our table (after we were done) she explained that the cook had recently cooked/burned someone's Ruben sandwhich - which might explain the weird soy-sauce flavoring (never knew Ruben's had soy sauce in them).
Overall the service and food were terrible. I live in the neighborhood and will not ever return.
