    Whenever family and friends visit, they insist on going to the Gilbert House. The food is consistently good. The servers are friendly. The restaurant is a charming old farm house. Everything is good - where should I start? Homebaked biscuits, muffins, cinnamon buns and pies. Tasty chili, perfect quiche, fresh salads, good burgers and fries, fabulous apple pancakes. It's a breakfast/lunch place. It's our favorite breakfast/lunch place.
