you always leave feeling full and happy and the sangria is thw best and the staff and service are courteous and attentive and all gentlemen. Its a perfect family place, my kifs love it, especiaaly the lobster bibs, but with or without the kids it's a great restaurant, one you will remember well, and the portions are big, and prices are reasonable.

I agree that Fernandez is one of the best Portuguese/Spanish restaurants around. Whenever I am going out to diner with my husband, Fernandez is always our top pick. Also I do agree that its better than IBERIA. If you are looking for great food and a great restaurant Fernandez is it.

No matter what the occassion, Fernandez is the number 1 place for Portuquese fare in the entire Ironbond.

Most folks rarely migrate beyond the split in the road at Wilson Avenue and Ferry St. But those who do will treat themselves to one of the finest restaurants in the State.

I've held office parties, family renuions, and many romantic dinners with my wife there, and it tops Iberia, the Mediteranian Manor, Spains, and many others hands down.

The restaurant has two levels that can accomodate small and large groups and a large staff that once seated never has you waitng long for service.

The food is exceptional, the portions are abundent, and the prices are equal to the other restaurants in the area. Also directly across the street is Fernandez's night spot which feature live latin music to get your Salsa and Merenge on.

I'm 47 years old of Portuquese descent and born in raised in the area, I know what I'm talking about where it come to this cuisine. Those other restaurants are fine but Fernandez is exceptional.
