I had always wanted to dine at this so well talked about Elephant Bar and Grill. While staying in Bakersfield reviewing Bakersfield State University which our daughter will attend in the fall of 2007 I saw a Elephant Bar & Grill on Stockdale and Calloway. I made reservations for four. We arrived at about 6:15 P.M. and were taken to our table in a very short time in the meantime we ordered a spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips which was excellent in taste and still warm. Our waitress was very tentive and courteous. My wife ordered Grilled Salmon, My daughter ordered your grilled chicken and her boyfriend ordered a steak and I ordered your Tri-Tip and shrimp dinner. While enjoying a fabulous dinner with a atmosphere unforgetable and conversating with our daughter regarding the States campus I picked up a fork full of the vegetables on my plate and put them in my mouth and low and behold bit into them and heard a loud crack and realized that I had biten into what appeared to be a rock I was in aw, a rock was in my vegetables? I called the waitress and explained what had happened she them immediatly call her Manager on duty and told me that they were already cooking another plate for me and apologized about the situation and that everything was going to be taken care of for that evening. I only have one complaint and that is that our evening was ruined because everyone in our party was skeptical to continue eating our dinners. But your food is exceptionally Great.
Thanks for a almost Perfect Evening
