  I have to say, the last review is quite unfair. I don't understand how it is the restaurant "choosing" mexico over the us if their SERVERS, humans with free will, don't show up.
  
  These reviews should be about the food, the service, and the ambiance. And all these are excellent at El Toro. The big menus offer many selections (even non-Mexican food to those who don't like it), and the servers are always friendly. It can be a bit loud in the restaurant, and sometimes drinks aren't refilled enough, but otherwise, it is amazing. I go multiple times every month, and never regret my decision.

  Attempted to dine here the evening of 5/1/06. Restaurant was closed due to lack of staff. I have eaten here at least twice per week since they opened. They will no longer have my business. They have chosen Mexico over the US. I will choose the US over El Toro.
