We love Casey's. We used to have a sailboat in New Buffalo so we ate at Casey's frequently. Now we still drive 45 minutes to eat there, we especially love their perch dinner. Our first question upon trying a perch dinner anywhere else is, "Is it as good as at Casey's?" This is not a fancy place, but has the comfortable feel of a clean and friendly, neighborhood bar. But it's also a great place for families--we've gone often with our elementary through teenage sons and it never seemed inappropriate. While we occasionally had an unfriendly (or uninterested) waiter or waitress, for the most part they have been friendly and efficient. We even have a few favorites. The noise level is high when they are busy, so it might not be a good choice for someone who wears hearing aids. They are busy in the summer and don't take reservations so if you go at a peak time you will probably have to wait, but there is a great outdoor bar and eating area in back that make the wait pleasant. We are planning on going there this weekend again with some friends.
The hostess at the door was busy talking with friends. My wife and I just stood there waiting to put our name down.
There was empty tables but we were told there was a wait.
We had to wait at the bar where the manager and owner were more into each other. Yuck. My wife was so hungry she ordered a salad came with hair and all. Need I say more.....

Got the food order wrong. The waiter starts talking on his cell phone while we are waiting for him to fix the order. The Pasta dish comes back with the Pasta not cooked all the way!! My salad dressing tasted horrible. We waited 40 minutes for a table to have this crappy time??
