Carrabba's used to be one of the best nationally chained restaurants in Lexington. My wife and I went there for years with excellent service and food. The last 2 years have not been as good though. Service has declined to young disrespectful kids and the food is obviously not prepared with the same care or skill that it used to be a few years ago. It's too bad because now their cost has overridden their quality. We go to Johnny Carrino's now which isn't as good as Carrabba's was, but is bettter than them now.
After finding a hair in the food and prior to that listen to how the server was having such a bad day stating that the customers on Sunday were generally rude, the manager did not want to take care of the problem and told us after treating us with such disrespect that I said I wouldn't come back, stated to us that it was fine with him if we didn't come back. He didn't care. It was aweful and I will take Mr.Davison's advise and not return.
Carrabba's Italian Grill is obviously a very popular place to eat because the wait for tables on the weekends can be over an hour. Not wanting to wait that long to get a bite to eat, a companion and I decided to visit the restaurant on a Monday night. The service was very professional and the food tasted excellent. My only beef with Carrabba's is that it *is* a bit on the expensive side, but if you're willing to splurge a little, I'm sure you won't be disappointed in what they serve you.
We had a party of 4 girls. We each ordered different things and shared the meals. I ordered the Tagliarni Picchu Pacchu with roasted chicken. It was absolutely amazing. It led me to order it again in the Columbus Ohio location. We had a wonderful time and we were very pleased with everything!
