Excellent food, and Service
There food there is excellent, as well as the service. They are fast, and they will check on you every 15 minutes or so and check when you need a refill on you're drink, or any other thing you need. The eating enviorment is great, as there is no smoking, except for the patio. The atmosphere is nice, and the way they the restaurant is layed out. It is a medium sized resturant, with a capacity of about 124 people. They have their own bar in the back, as well with the bathrooms.

best mexican in the east lansing area
If you are looking for real authentic Mexican food, not just hamburger on a taco shell, this is the place to go. The portions are huge and the prices are good. The ambiance is great, no matter where you are seated, I've been by the bar, on the patio and by the kitchen. I've tried lots of Mexican places in the area and this is by far the best, even better than El Azteco, esp. for the price. Make sure and try a drink...they are also very authentic and yummy. Dine in or carry out, you shouldn't be disapointed...if you are, then you don't know real and good Mexican food.

I met friends for dinner and enjoyed a combination plate. Our service was friendly and fast, especially for a busy Wednesday night. The food was delicious... and for the money I couldn't have found a better value! I'll certainly be a return customer and will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!

SUX!
Food was terrible service was worse. When I was asked how I liked it when I paid, I told they guy to be honest it wasn't very good, he said oh okay well next time get the fajitas they are better than what you got??? Um sure okay....I really don't undestand what all the hype is about this place.

Great Mexican Food with a Caviat
I honestly believe that this is the best Mexican food in town. Their decoration is very Mexican as well, colorful and cheerful, making the whole experience fun.
However, one caveat -- We've been there several times now, and our experience has always been the same: avoid the place during the weekends (Friday-Saturday). Because it's so high traffic during those times, they really struggle to keep up. During those times, waits are long, service is weaker, and the food ends up being bland because it's prepared so fast. But, if you go during the week, then you notice that they are paying much more attention to all the details, the food tastes crisper and tastier and the service improves drastically. -
Yumbo-it's time to eat!
A fun environment with super food. The portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Great salsa and margueritas. On the weekends the wait is very long; with good reason. Most people that are here are couples meeting for dinner and having a few drinks and food. Great Food, Super Service. Authentic and fun!

Great....but
We are mistaken for Hispanic all the time. We have been to Cancun twice, because we love the food! But both times we were seated at the table right next to the kitchen, even though there were great tables available in the main dining area & near the glass windows. It made us feel like we were not their ideal patrons. Will see where they seat us next time.

I dont get the other reviews on here, I ate there and everyone hated it. Its very bland and all tastes the same. The salsa is like totato sauce and water. I even tried it again just to make sure, and yes it was not good. I reccommend Hacienda Los Amigos or El Azteco.

Amigos
The food is really good. Tacos, burritos, you name it, they're all good. I usually get the Speedy Gonzales for lunch. The service is exceptional and very friendly. They give you free chips and salsa with your meal and the price is very reasonable. They also serve alcohol. I recommend their giant margarita.

Cancun Experience
Cancun Grill is a great place for authentic Mexican food. Their Cancun fajitas are an excellent value and are very flavorful. I recommend the cheese dip to pour on all your favorite Mexican dishes. The Tamales are a favorite of many of my friends. I've been there many times, and had the burritos several times, and have never gone home hungry or disappointed.

Feb 28, 2006Great Mexican food!!!!!
This is by far the best mexican restaurant in the area!! Great warm tortilla chips and salsa, quick service, great mexican food!!! Many combos available for those undecided, and good lunch specials available also. No nacho cheeses here or tacos dripping with grease. Only quality foods are served. I highly recommend!
