    Two thumbs up!

First off, the couple that owns this small restaurant welcome you like long lost relatives into their own home, and it is genuine in every respect.

The food is fabulous. The atmosphere is cozy, certainly nothing lavish, but anything lacking in grandeur is far overcome by the personal attention given by the owners (chef and wife I believe).

They put on a lunch buffet for around $7.50 that is all you can eat with four italian dishes and a salad bar. Heaven, I'm in heaven, ...you know the song.

    A little slice of heaven

What Olive Garden tries to lay claim to Cafe Roma actually delivers. When you are there, you ARE family. The owner Antonio and his wife Anna give a level of personal service I have never seen in my 20 years in East Mesa. All of the food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients and is truly authentic Italian. IF you order linguine with clams sauce, well..the clams are actually in the shell. Someone once complained to me about this about Cafe Roma, but in my mind, that is real clam sauce and when I tried the dish.. Fabulous! The atmosphere is cozy, the bread is crusty and the cappucino is a beautiful frothy cloud. Try that with the chocolate covered spumoni and you will have a little slice of heaven.

    Best Italian in the Valley!

This small intimate restaurant is perfect for a romantic night. The food is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. They also have a great selection of seafood dishes and even a special italian beer that is unlike anything I have ever had anywhere else. My husband swears that the cannelloni is the best in the world!

    Favorite Italian Restaurant!

This is our favorite Italian Restaurant in the Valley. It's small, quiet, and the place prides itself on homemade, REAL Italian food. The pasta is great, but if you dare to eat a huge meal, try the risotto. Everything is served with salad and warm homemade bread. And don't forget to end the meal with a perfectly-made Italian cappucino!

The prices are unbelievably low for the quality and quantity of food. (The lunch menu is an especially good value.) The service is great too...every time we've been here the chef has come out of the kitchen to check how we liked our meal. And of course, it is always fantastic!
