I've been pleased virtually every visit to Cafe Cabernet. Quite often my husband and I go for appetizers and a bottle of wine. The appetizer are of excellent proportion and make the ambiance makes for a relaxing evening for two. We especially love getting an excellent bottle of wine and chatting while enjoying a cheese board.
We were surprised at how empty the place was. Maybe we were early for siner at 7 pm? And there was an FSU game that night. Service was friendly but seemed disinterested. We ordered several small dishes. Crab dip was good, could have had more crab in it. Lobster roll and cajum shrimp were very good. Beef tenderloin was excellent, as was the chocolate cake. All food was attractive and plated.
