GREAT BREKFAST ON WEEK ENDS
I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND THE BREKFAST IT WAS AWSOME FRANSICO WAS A REAL GENTALMAN AND A TRUE PLESURE TO HAVE AS OUR SERVER KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK CAME BACK TOO DAYS LATER DINNER WAS TO NO SURPRISE FANTASTIC

many times here kind of hit and miss
I have been here many times. Sometimes the food is great and sometimes very bad. The last 3 times here it was awful. Food was cold, shrimp was so undercooked and service was awful The clam chowder tasted old and the lettuce was soooo bad. When i said something they said they were busy. Maybe this place is too busy now to serve good food.

Bad experience
The food was awful, steak so tough we could not chew it. over priced and did not even include a salad. Service was ok but took a long time to get our steaks I guess because it was so overcooked and we ordered medium.
I was disappointed and will not return. -
Excellent!
we ate at this place the other night and I have to say we were very happy with the food. The young lady that waited on us seemed young and inexperenced but she was sweet. The service she provided was not the best but she seemed alittle nervous Im assuming that she is new. with that said we did really enjoy the food and will be back for sure

Talk about heart
I was at the cactus the other day and they were having a benifit for the young girl that passed away after choking on her tooth at the dentist office. When I inquired I learned that the meal was donated to the poor family and friends of this little girl. I was so touched to hear that they were doing this. I am impressed that this place found it within there hearts to do that. I just wish that there were more people in the world that would put the needs of others before their own.

My family and I had a special event at this place and I want everyone to know that they really took great care of us. Not too many places can provide the quality food and excellent service for large groups that they did and did an outstanding job. Thank you Cactus Cantina for making our event a complete success!

Great!
Had a really great time at the bar the other night. My friends and I went in for some drinks and just to hang out. The woman behind the bar suggested a few diffent things that we had never heard of before. I stuck to the simple while the girls went for the unknown. We all had a great time this place is great!

Went in to eat at the cactus cantina last night and had a very nice time. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. The woman who served us was attentive and informative. We all tried something different and everyone of us enjoyed the meal completely. I was also inpressed with the atmosphere, and prices.Great place!

Just do ONE type of FOOD i.e. mexican,steaks etc
Been in this restaurant twice now and have found it coping many of the areas other restaurant menus items. Because they have alot on the menu THE RESTAURANT FAILS TO LIVE UP TO ITS TRUE POTENTIAL, it is hard for a small place to prepare and cook food well,they have TOO much on the menu. Hint rember this "KISS" "Keep it Simple Stupid" Don't try to be a Cheescake factory, Yardhouse or even a PHWoods. These concepts do it well because of its size and talent!

Great!
went in Friday night for a couple of drinks and a something to eat. There were 6 of us and we couldn't decide what to get the menu is so big! we decided to order different things and share. They give you so much food we were able to taste all of it and we agreed that every dish was delicious! This is a very nice casual place to dine. I think everyone agreed that this is a great place!

Fun
I met some friends at the Cactus Friday night and had a fun time. We usually hook up a couple of times a month but this was our first time at the Cactus Cantina. I have to say personally I am very excited to have a place this close to home that is so nice. The service was great the drinks were awesome and the place is nice looking. We will be back!

I take my girl there every friday night and sometimes I just go in with friends. I too have tried almost everything on the menu and I have always ALWAYS enjoyed it.
The people are friendly the prices are fair and the food is fresh and of high quality. Don't be fooled but what anyone says go in and try it for yourself. I'm sure you will be glad you did. -

Food out of a BOX and/or CAN
The food taste like it came out of a can or it was frozen food. I have been there a few times and ordered something different each time and I had the same result each time. It's seems like they hardly use any FRESH products, except the obvious salad,onion,tomatoes etc... It's fast food quality at Cactus Cantina. I will never return.

We loved it!
Took the whole family in to the cactus cantina for the first time and I have to say that everything was perfect!
The service was quick and very friendly. The prices were fairly low compared to others so we weren't expecting anything "special". Boy were we wrong! The ribs are fantastic and the shrimp was great! We all had different things so everyone picked at all the dishes just to check it out and everything was great! -
Great stuff
The food at the cactus is great. My family doesn't get to go out to eat too often these days (we just had a baby)
so I went in for some take out. My wife called it in and then I took our son to go pick it up. I only waited five minutes for them to put the order together that was great. When we got home and unpacked everything we had an excellent meal. Before the baby we used to go in to dine a few times a month so we weren't surprised and how good the take out was. As soon as we are able we will be going in again. Love this place! -
Very nice place!
I think the cactus cantina is a very nice place to go for food and or drinks. The people there are very attentive to the customers needs. I have always had very good service. The food is to die for and the drinks are refreshing. My friends and I all agree that the Cactus Cantina is one of the best places in Riverside for dinning and cocktails!

I brought my son in today after 6 grade graduation. The whole family thought the food was excellent and my son really enjoyed his meal. I want to thank the management. The people here really know how to take care of their customers. When the meal was over nobody rushed us out we just sat and talk. When we were ready we got the check and was surprised at how reasonable it was.

King High School Graduation Day !
We all went to the cactus for graduation day and we had a great time. Everything was wonderful. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the food. They really made this day as special as could of been. Thank you for everything! You guys did an awesome job.

Love Taco Thursday!
Some friends and I were in last night. Had a great time!
We watched the game and enjoyed some of the best taco's we've ever had! And they were cheap :) I could spend so much more going through the taco bell drive thru. We really enjoyed the pleasant fun atmosphere that they have here.
So, for now on when I want a taco Im going to the cactus!

My recent experence at the cactus cantina was GREAT!
I've been in a few times since it changed over from Iguana Joes and I have to say there is a major improvement! Texas Looseys was OK but Iguana Joes was terrible. The new owner has done an excellent job. I can't tell you how much better this place is. I will be back! -
Family loves it!
We eat at the cactus cantina a few times a month and my family loves it! And the food is outstanding. The service is quick and friendly. This last time we a young lady named Denise as our server. She was so sweet and attentive. Our orders were perfect and everyting tasted great. This is a nice place to take the kids because they always enjoy their meals and never complain. My husband and I even choose this place when we get a night out ALONE.

I am glad I have the oportunity to let you know that the Cactus Cantina is our favorate place to dine. Our whole family loves it. The service is great. It is so nice to walk into a restaurant and be greated in such a frendly way! The whole experence is a pleasent one. From the minute we walk in ,thoughout our meal, all the way right up to when we receive that smile with a "thank you" at the door on our way out. Keep up the good work you are doing a great job!

Nice family place
The Cactus Cantina is a nice family place. They have a wide menu with lots of dishes to choose from. The kids all found something to eat and we did too. The service was great and the prices were fair. Im happy to say that the whole family really enjoyed our visit. We really liked the fact that we could order everything from steaks and chicken to mexican and seafood. Great Place!

This place is excellent. I was surprised at the great prices at first. But then the service was outstanding. When the food arrived it looked so good and the portions were generous. Everyone agreed that the food was fantastic!

My friends and I visit this place often. but taco thursdays is our favorate night. We enjoy the attmosphere and love the taco special. The drinks are great and the prices and fair. My friends and I really enjoy ourselves when we go in. The service we receive is outstanding.

The Cactus Cantina is a great place to eat.
I went in with a couple of guys to discuss work issues and
really enjoyed it. The service is quick the waiter was informative and friendly. We had our meeting ate a great meal and was surprised at how little it cost. I will be back again with family and friends but next time I want to relax and have a few drinks. Great place! -
Very nice place
My whole family loves this place. We went in for a family dinner and everyone had a great time. Our server was very polite and sweet, a cute young lady with a beautiful smile. She made the experence very plesent. Our food came to the table quickly and every order was perfect. Everyone wants to go back! Since we usually go out as a family once a month we have tried so many places and I have to say that this was the best by far! Keep up the good work!

The Cactus Cantina is an excellent place to dine. I have been going here for a long time now at least once a week and I am never disappointed! The service is outstanding I really like the way all the servers work together to make sure everyone has a great dinning experence. The food is great the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is comfortable. I would like everyone to give this place a try cause I know you will enjoy it.

This is a very nice place to eat. I like to take the family out for dinner once and awhile and I always enjoy going in to the cactus. the people are nice the service is outstanding and the food is great. My kids even enjoy it! I will be back again and again.

Great!
This is a great place for the whole family. Their menu is very large and contains a wide varity. There really is something for everyone. My only complaint is that sometimes the music is a little too lould, but not all the time so I can't really say anything bad. My kids like to play the game in the corner wich gives us alittle time to relax after out meal. I like that.

Nice Restaurant
The Cactus Cantina is a very nice restaurant. I go in with my family three or four times a week now. The service is excellent. I like the wide menu and the low prices. the quality of the food is outstanding, much better than most. I am thinking of using this place to cater my next party. I will see how they do with that.

Great food!
I took the kids in to the Cactus cantina last week during spring break. It's the first time we've been there. The service was quick and the waiter was sweet. I can't say enough about how well this young man did. He was very attentive. I really enjoyed the attmosphere and the prices are fair. The kids menu had alittle bit of everything and my children ate it all. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a good meal at a good price.

Kid friendly
I took the kids in for lunch today since they're on spring break we figured we would take in a movie and then have lunch.
We usually go in for dinner but I've got to say we really enjoyed our meals. The lunch specials are perfect. This is really a great place for the whole family any time of day! -

I just wanted to say that I love taking the family to the cactus cantina. We always enjoy our food and the prices are reasonable. we get great quick service and the portions are healthy. The kids love it too, that makes going out to dinner so much easier. Great place! I would recommend it to everyone.

Fun times
Hey I just wanted to say that we all had a great time Friday night. The Cactus Cantina is a nice place to party. Yet it still has that warm feeling you want from a resturant. I met up with some friends after work to have a few drinks and get alittle something to eat. My girlfriend told me to met them at the cactus I had never been there before. I had a great time. The drinks were refreshing and the appitiezers were awesome. I know this place is going to be a huge success, and I will be back!

Breakfast too
Hi I am a regular for dinner and drinks at this place. But I never went in for breakfast till today. We had a bunch of running around to do this morning and I didn't have time to make breakfast so, we decided to try breakfast since everything else is always so good. Im glad we did. Our meals were great and as usual the service was outstanding. I just found out that they have been serving breakfast on saturdays and sundays for awhile now. Im so glad because I don't really like the IHOP and CoCo's has really been a disapointment lately.

I just want to say that this is a nice friendly place!
I've been to many resturants over the years and I think this place is my favorate so far. The people are smiling and they're so friendly. I get a warm reception everytime I walk through the door. My husband and my kids always enjoy our visits to this place. Warm friendly service great tasting food and very ressonable prices. Who could ask for more! -
This place is great!
This is a great place to eat! The service is excellent and the food is awesome! I really enjoy going here because the menu is so big I can eat something diffent all the time. From mexican to seafood to steaks (chicken is great too). They offer you a choice of two sides and that is a plus too. My whole family loves to eat here so it makes it easier on everyone. Fun night everytime
I go to the Cactus Cantina a few times a month. I enjoy the atmosphere very much. The place is very nice and the people are friendly. I love the service I receive everytime I go in. I pretty much go here whenever I want to relax and have a few drinks. The food is excellent and I will continue to go in for a good time.

Cute little place
I really like the Cactus Cantina for many reasons. The quality of the food is outstanding. I have never had a problem with service here. I really enjoy going in because its a small independent restaurant not a big corporate chain. There is such a diffence from the two types in the way they operate. The big chain restuarants don't have that "I care what you think" attitude like the smaller independants do. I like to frequent places that care what I think because they always take the extra step to insure that I am happy. So if anyone wants to dine in a place that appreciates their business and shows it in the way they are serviced then I suggest you give this place a try. I think this place will be around a long time and least I hope so.

I love this place! The food is excellent the menu is big and the prices are great. I like to go in at least once a week but sometimes I go in more often. The service is quick and friendly. This is an excellent place to dine and have drinks!
I enjoy everything I order here. I really like to have a fancy bar drink with my meals and I have tried a bunch of different kinds and they're always really good. Since they got the new blending machine the frosted drinks are better then ever! The service is great and the food is to die for (and very generous portions). All I want to know is
WHO IS THE CUTE WAITER? and is he aval? -
Nice family place
This is a nice place to take the family for a quick and tasty meal. The menu is big the service is great the food is excellent and the prices are fair, what else could anyone ask for? I like the people here too. Everyone is always smiling and friendly you can tell that they are happy working here and that shows in the service we always receive. I have never been disappointed at this place.

Great For Kids and moms and dads too!
I really like this restaurant! We all went in after a long day, (I wasn't in the mood to cook)
We had a very nice young man wait on us and I have to say it was probably the best service we've ever had. The kids loved the choices on the menu and my husband and I did too.
There aren't enough nice places to go where the kids enjoy eating as much as the parents! Excellent food and excellent service this place is great! -
Very good food
The food at the cactus is excellent!
We had a short business meeting there last week and I've got to say that when the next meeting comes up this is the place Im voting for. We had wireless internet (FREE) and we had great table service. We were able to conduct our meeting without any problems and enjoyed an excellent meal at the same time. The place is comfortable and clean my female co-workers really appreciated that. Love this place! -

I have never been to Cactus Cantina before and neither has my date. It was our first time going out and i belive the great food and fun atmosphere made my date a sucess!!!! Very comfortable surrounding and large servings of food with many items to choose from. Its not too often that you can order grilled chicken,calamari and chili all on 1 menu!

Very Good Food
I was at the Cactus last night and I have to say I am impressed. I didn't know what to expect since the previous restaurants were so bad. I think by far this is the best place at that location so far. Fast friendly service is hard to find these days but the cactus has it all. Great service Great food Great drinks and all at Great prices!

I was at the cactus a few nights ago with some family and friends. We sat near the bar and had a few drinks and they were great but the service was outstanding. After a while we got hungry and ordered some stuff and I have to say the food was excellent. Very tasty and priced right. This is a great place and I recommend it highly. LOVE IT! -
Great Take Out
We just picked up some take out from the cactus cantina in the mission grove shopping center on alessandro blvd in riverside. There's six of us and I was supprised that the bill was so reasonable. Everyone of us finished our food except for my daughter she is saving the rest for tomorrow's lunch. The portions are large and the quality is excellent. This is a great restaurant we love it!

Greatest Meal I Have Ever Had And I'm Pretty Old
My wife and I have eaten almost everywhere there is to eat and this place is the only one we will ever go back to. WONDERFUL people, atmosphere, and the food was to die for but I didn't. So we're going back this weekend again!! Please don't change a thing, 'cause I need to eat again.

Dinner and a Movie who could ask for more!
My husband and I got a night out ALONE (for a change)
we have been going to the cactus for about a month now with the kids and we always enjoy our meals. The service is excellent and so is the food. Last night we got to go out without the kids and let me tell you we had the greatest time ever! We enjoyed a couple of steaks and a few drinks then went to the movie. What more could I ask for I really like the Cactus Cantina and love the decor its cozy -

Great Place
I wanted to let the people in Riverside know that this place is great! With all the new restaurants popping up it needs to be known that this is the place to go. I have tried the new cheesecake factory and pf changs as well as the others like bjs but the wait is so freaking long and then the service stinks then the bill comes and your like what?
The Cactus Cantina has fast friendly service the food is fantastic and the prices are fair. I have become a regular and always take family and friends so they too can see what a great place this is. If you haven't tried it yet I suggest that you do ASAP you'll be glad you did! -

Great Food Great Prices

We went with a few friends a couple of times over the last few months and not one of us has ever disliked our visits. The food is great and the service is quick and friendly!
The prices are extremly fair and I have to wonder why we pay so much more at other places, for food that doesn't even taste as good. I think we will be regulars for now on! -

OH WHAT A NIGHT , OH WHAT A PLACE!
My husband and I have heard a lot of great things about the Cactus Cantina from friends and co-workers. Tonight we decided to give it a try and I am so.... glad we did!
The place is so cozy and clean. Our server Mike was very attentive and made our dinning experence special. The young man made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The food was excellent and the service was the best we've ever had. The menu is extensive with so many things to choose from. I had the valentine special Lobster and Filet medalions, and my husband had the Porterhouse and shrimp combo WE LOVED IT! Great food Great service and all at an affordable price, we have to wonder WHY would we ever go anywhere else! I highly recommend this place! -
Riverside at it's best!
I went to the Cactus Cantina for my birthday following a movie at Cinema Star. There was quite a few of us and we were concerned that they would not be able to sit us but it wasn't a problem. Although the place was pretty crowded they were able to put a few tables together for us in their party room. Everyone was so nice the service was great.The food was priced fairly and tasted out of this world. I've never enjoyed a meal more and it didn't cost us a fortune! We all ordered different things and not one of us was dissapointed. The owners there really care and want to make their customers happy. I had a great time and I've recommended the place to all of my family and friends.

the service
i cant believe that we have become regulars at a resturant. its hard to believ but it just so happens that my family and i like this resturant so much that we kept deciding to come back. soon enough we became known there and have made friends. this place is excelent not only is the food out of this world but the service is great. they are so friendly and helpful with anything you need, and that will definitly make us come back more and more. this is a great place.

the mexican dishes
wow what to say about this place. i love almost everything on the menu. i mean the steaks are great the soups the salads are fantastic and the sandwiches are great. but my personal favorite would be the mexican dishes. i loce the carne asada its great i always split it with my wife and we love it. as for my kids they always get the kids enchaladas and happen to enjoy eating the french frys with them its there favorite part. overall this resturant id awsome.

oo man the food here is the best. its not just the mexican dishes, although theya re fantastic, there steaks are to die for. i love the new york steak and the choice of two sides makes me feel all special inside. the service we recieved was excelent i couldnt be happier. i love this restraunt its close by and its great. i love it.

Nov 07, 2006What is with the French Fries?
For Adults, this is a great place to eat. I have never been dissapointed with any of my dishes. However, I can not say that I am pleased with the childrens menu!!! I have a hard time understanding WHY French Fries are served with Cheese Enchiladas? I ALWAYS specify that my sone loves Rice and Beans, yet we never get them!!?? If (most) kids see Fries, that is all thye eat, and they are super un-healthy ... so why have them on the kids menu at all? Other than this gripe, I am quite pleased with everything there ... the decor is cute ... food great, wait-staff is very nice ... clean ... If the childrens menu were fixed it would be a perfect 10!!!!
