  I Love this Place

  Me and one of my co-workers frequently go here for lunch. The food is always very good and I actually like the atmosphere. The place is very small and gets busy at peak hours. The waitress' have alway be friendly on my visits. If you are looking for linen tablecloth and fine china or if you do not appreciate Southern style resturants, then this is not your place.

  Worst dining experience I ever had.

  The title sums it up. Dining at Big Mamou was the worst dining experience I've ever had. After 25 years of dining at varies restaurant thoughout the country this was the worst by far.
  
  After entering the resturant I approached the waitress and ask her if I could sit at any table? without looking at me she replied yes. I sat at a table that had been recently vacated. The waitress approached the table removed her tip that had been left by the previous patrons. She never presented me with a menu or asked me if I'll like a glass of water.
  After sitting in this resturant for 30 minutes and not receiving service I left.
  I called the resturant 5 minutes after leaving and complain to the the chef and the waitress. The waitress said the reason I sat for 30 minutes without service and the reason she failed to acknowledge my presence was because she was busy.
  
  What a poor excuse for such POOR POOR SERVICE.
