I went for dinner with my mom when she came in town to visit during spring break at RIT. I guess I am spoiled, coming from Chicago which is both a restaurant town and has a neighborhood called 'Little Italy' filled with fabulous hole in the wall restaurants.
The food at Bazil was bland and so thoroughly uninteresting! It was like offering someone a piece of swiss cheese and giving them American cheese instead. We tried to eat because we were very hungry but neither of us could finish even a quarter of our pasta dishes.
I was very impressed with Bazil's. I am going there again tonight to celebrate a friends birthday. The people are friendly, and the food is wonderful. We went the first time to celebrate with my daughter for her 26th birthday. It was during lent, we had planned on going to a popular seafood restuarant. We got there early and it there was already a 45 min. wait. My friend had told me about Bazil's and we decide to give it a try. We got seated right away. The server was great, he explained everything. The choices are great. My husband is a big eater, he got seconds and loved it. My daughter and I took 1/2 of our entree home. I recomend it to all my friends.
