I love love Bali Hai! I am hooked on their food. Fresh ingredients, tasty sauce, what more can a person ask for?
They cook all the ingredients in a open kitchen, on a huge round high heat grill, that cooks everything to a nice crisp (NOT soggy, like other places) Bali Hai's food replicates how the Ancient Mongolian soldiers would gather fresh ingredients they found in the fields, and cooked in on a fire heated stone slab.
Bali Hai have been around for over 15 years, and are a legacy in Raleigh. I highly recommend it. I have gotten my coworkers and family hooked on the delicious food! Suggestion- try adding Lomein noodles to your dish. Very very good.
The food is really awesome, but it takes several visit to get experienced enough to optimize. The problem with the place is that it is crowded and simple improvements in their process could correct. Many times we avoid the line which can take a half hour to get served and seated.
