  employee hygeine issues and bad service

  Me and my wife went out for an evening alone without the kids and after our movie we stopped by applebees on atlanticto have some drinks and an appetizer since it was conveniently across from regency mall where the theater was located. We were seated at our table and it took a while for us to be waited on, but were not in a rush. Our server finally asked us about 10 minutes later what we were drinking and suddenly this horrible smell came with him. It was if he had not taken a bath in days or was out working in the yard before he came to work. Me and my wife kinda look around and try to figure out where it is coming from and make our order. The waiter comes back with our drinks and takes our food order and then leaves again to place our order, and once again this odor comes and goes again with him. we do not want to be rude and are not the kind to make a scene, so we thought well we could rough it out, it's not like he'll be here the whole time. Everything came out as ordered except i had to ask twice for rance dressing and my wife's margarita, so at this point i start to get a little agitated. Not to mention that it is hard to hold your breath as long as he wanted to hole a quite interesting conversation with the table behind us, the smell was totally horrid! As we were about to leave I was looking around for my waiter who was on the other side of the restaurant at another table, trying to just get our check,pay and get out of there and while i was sitting there looking around I happened to catch a glimpse of another female server at the opening of the kitchen area digging in her nose, wiped it on her apron, and then picked up another person's food and carried it out to them with their napkins in hand. At this point, I am really very disgusted and just ready to go. I did not mention the nose thing to my wife because i know that she would be greatly disgusted even more than she had already been by the smell of our waiter. It would just ruin our night out even more. We finally got our check and i while i was waiting on my credit card receipt to sign, my wife went to the restroom. She came back out with a horrible expression on her face, and said she would tell me when we got outside. My wife told me that a waitress was in the restroom at the same time as her, not only was she digging in her nose, picking in her hair, but she also did not wash her hands!! I just could not believe all of what had happened in this visit and really questioned the condition of the food that we did actually eat! This has to be the worst experience i have ever had, smelly waiter, waitress with no sense of personal hygeine. I would NEVER eat here EVER again. Even the thought of cheese sticks and quesidillas makes me want to hurl now, thanks applebees!
