Authentic Flavor. And also we love Crapes (Dosa)
This is the 3rd Indian restaurant for Little Rock, and by far, the best.
Amruth's is a great place to eat authentic Indian cuisine.
Lunch portions are WAY too big! I'm like a pig when I leave. Well, I'm like a pig when I come in too.
I tend to be VERY particular about restaurants. My family and I eat out regularly, and I'm not going to waste my time with mediocre food and service. My time has value, don't make me waste it. This place is worth my time.
So I don't mind telling you, the food was wonderful. They're working on the service, but the food is worth the occasional wait. For instance, not everyone in our party was served at the same time, but we all enjoyed our food. They need to work on that.
I've been there 4 times now, and it was wonderful each time. I took my finicky 10 year old, and he even cleaned his plate. No higher praise, I assure you.
Currently, buffet on Fri, Sat, Sunday, menu rest of the week. Can make lunch a little long, so be prepared.
This is a good place and is a typical indian resturant that serves tasty food. Indian food is very popular all over the globe for its spice and has a complete preparation. In most situations resturants tend to take the spice out the prepration and that makes it lose its flavor and autheticity. Right now "Amruth" has done good to keep authentic flavor. Hope they maintain it.
Amruth has excellent food. The spice combinations were subtly different than I have had at other Indian restaurants, but very nice. We started with soup, which was rich and really good. The garlic naan was perfect, and the vegetarian entrees that we sampled were also perfectly spiced and really good. When we ordered a dish medium, it actually had some spiciness to it, unlike our experiences at the other Indian restaurant in town, which seems to serve everything mild, no matter what spice level you specify. The quality of the food seemed to be very high, and I hope that Amruth gets enough business that they can not only stay in business, but also maintain that level of quality and flavor.
This is one good place to eat Authentic Indian food in Little Rock. Our first lunch experience was pretty good in Amruth. Hope they maintain the Inidan flavor. I am not sure of knowing any Inidan resturant that serves authentic Indian Food in Little Rock. Indian food is popular for being spicy. Hope the spice remains in the food always.
