Description: Forty Two, From the vision of Owner David Mardirosian comes an elegantly decorated, California/New York style restaurant located in Providence, RI's premiere food destination of Historic Federal Hill. Two Forty Two showcases executive Chef Homer Ford's New American inspired cuisine infused with Mediterranean influences, using each season's finest ingredients. Two Forty Two evokes a feeling warmth and comfort with it's beautiful gold banquettes in the front lounge/bar area and candle chandeliers and sconces in the rear dining room. The bar is meticulously covered in mother of pearl and light wood while the hard wood floor contrasts with a dark oak stain. The front area seats 20 with another 12 at the bar and 12 in the lounge chairs which are ideal for specialty martini's and appetizers. The restaurant is open seven nights a week for dinner with a special late night menu.
